Tequila Chicken Wings
Ingredients
4 pounds chicken wings, washed, dried, and trimmed as desired
1/2 cup tequila
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
4 tablespoons chili powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1 teaspoon coarse salt
several course grinds black peppercorns
1 cup safflower oil
 
Method
Drop the cleaned wings into a gallon size zipper style plastic bag. Add the rest of the ingredients. Seal the bag shut and toss to coat the wings. Place the bag in the refrigerator and chill overnight.

When ready to cook, heat grill or grill pan to medium high. Grill 8 to 9 minutes per side basting occasionally with marinade until the wings are marked and golden and the juices run clear, or until the meat is no longer pink. Discard unused marinade.

Serve wings hot.
