Roasted Onions & Pears w. Lemon & Honey
Ingredients
3 medium onions, halved or quartered
2 rip Bosc bears, halved
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons honey
1/4 teaspoon coarse salt

Method
Preheat oven to 400°

In a shallow baking dish large enough to onions and pears in a single layer melt
butter in oven and swirl in pan to coat. Add onion halves, cut side down, and
quarters; bake 30 minutes. Add pears, cut side down, to pan and bake 20
minutes, or until onions and pears are tender and lightly browned.

Stir together lemon juice, honey and salt in a bowl. Add to onions and pears and
toss to coat. Serve hot or at room temperature.
