| Pear Champagne Cocktail |
Look for Seckel or Forelle pear slices to garnish this cocktail, because of their
small size they fit perfectly into Champagne flutes. Lower the slices slowly into
the flute or the Champagne will bubble over.
Demi sec Champagne is 3.3% to 5% sugar and considered a dessert wine.
Components
1 teaspoon Poire William or other pear eau de vie
6 ounces demi sec Champagne, chilled
Method
Pour eau de vie into a Champagne flute and swirl around to coat inside of
glass. Top off with Champagne.
