Orange Oil
Ingredients
1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds
2 cloves garlic
3 slices fresh ginger
5 whole cloves
24 whole allspice berries
Zest of 1 orange
1 small cinnamon stick
best quality olive oil, to fill the jar

Method
Fill a clean jar with all of the spices and the oil. Store in the refrigerator for at least 2
weeks to allow the spices to infuse.

Strain out the spices through a funnel lined with cheesecloth, directly into a storage
bottle.
Seal and label, if desired. The oil should be refrigerated throughout all stages of the
process, and will keep for up to 1 month.

Serving Tip

This orange-flavored oil can also be used to baste turkey, chicken, or duck, or as a
delicious fruity salad dressing.
